Guiding the MEd LDT programme is Prof Dr Abtar Darshan Singh, a globally recognised expert in instructional design and the first academic from a Malaysian private university to hold the Unesco Chair on Harnessing Innovations in Technology to Support Teachers and Quality Learning programme.

Prof Abtar’s leadership is instrumental in promoting inclusive education through technologies such as AI, Internet of Things (IoT) and other IR4.0 innovations.

Her vision has positioned the DLH as a leader in education innovation locally and internationally.

Prof Abtar is supported by an esteemed team of adjunct faculty including:

• Prof Esther Daniel: A recognised leader in science education, sustainable development and technology integration with award-winning contributions to research and training.
• Prof Edward C. Robeck (American Geosciences Institute): A global advocate for geoscience education, known for initiatives like “Earth Week” and international instructional design contributions.
• Adjunct Professor Dr Vaikunthan Rajaratnam (Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore): An expert in medical education and generative AI, renowned for mentoring surgeons and developing innovative online health teaching programmes.
